Hello, My name is Samantha and I am a Christian woman living with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer that had progressed from Stage 2 in less than a yr (diagnosed MBC May 2019 ). I was diagnosed Stage 2b at 36 years old and Stage IV at 37 years old. I have bone mets throughout most of my skeleton. Regular Blogs and occasional Podcasts discussing my experience with breast cancer including treatments and testing, coping with progression, keeping the faith and how I am coping with everyday life. Follow me til I take my first breath in eternity
I have been through dose-dense AC-T Chemo (which failed, my cancer grew on this regimen, 2 months after finishing mets where discovered throughout skeleton at radiation planning), A total mastectomy/sentinel node biopsy of my right breast (no recon), attempted radiation which was canceled when metastasis to bone was discovered, chemical ovarian shutdown with both Zoladex and Lupron(which failed), a bone biopsy to sternum, ovary removal surgery (oopherectomy), and am currently on Ibrance/Aromasin.
I call myself a realist and thus my blog serves as a place for me to flesh out everything I'm feeling in brutally honest kinda way. It is not everyone's cup of tea but I don't know how else to express myself. I'm hoping to leave this blog as a legacy to those I love and as a diary of some of the things I've gone through good or bad. Hopefully leaving behind morsels of truth, honesty and faith.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
